Niche Academy

Niche Academy is an online learning platform that helps academic libraries show their direct contribution to student success through the ability to easily measure student learning outcomes. Niche Academy allows the Librarian to deliver library instruction at the point-of-need and allows us to embed video tutorials within Canvas, where you can assign these tutorials as a part of regular course materials. Tutorials can even be pre-assigned to free up classroom time for more in-depth conversations and troubleshooting. 

This tool is essential for those faculty who desire to have an in-person library instruction session but does not have the class time available to invite the librarian into the classroom or, who wants to learn more about library services and share these tutorials with their students.

• Niche Academy includes a simple authoring tool that can be used to create custom online training which means we can also create tutorials specifically for your course.
