This page is a quick introduction to SRC Library resources. To learn more about these resources and resources specific to your division, program, or class, contact your librarian.
From CARLI:
Beginning July 1, 2023, CARLI will begin a five-year pilot program to provide all University of Illinois Press (UIP) electronic journals to all CARLI members. The FY24-FY28 pilot is funded by the University of Illinois System as the result of a joint request from the UIP and CARLI in FY22. The journals will be available at no cost to CARLI member libraries.
Access includes everything from the Scholarly Publishing Collective (SPC) except the “Journal of Book of Mormon Studies.” Please see: https://scholarlypublishingcollective.org/uip/pages/browse_titles for a listing on the SPC site of the journals included with direct links to the content. Please note this listing also includes “Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought,” but that title is open access.
*We are currently working on getting access to these collections.*
We purchase books, videos, and other resources to support your courses. Find these books in the Library Catalog.
We offer three main databases for articles.
We also offer databases for newspaper articles.
The LRC is now purchasing individual video titles from Kanopy with either a 1 year or 3 year license. If you go to: https://src.kanopy.com/ you will be able to browse all the titles that they offer (and you will also be able to see all of the ones we currently have licenses to). If you find a title that you would like for us to purchase, please contact your Librarian, Jeannette, or fill out the request form that is on the site. If you have any questions please ask your Librarian.
